A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA REQUESTING THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COM-
MISSION TO ALLOCATE ORANGE COUNTY UNIFIED TRANSPORTA-
TION TRUST FUNDS (OCUTT) FOR THE I~ROV~W~IqT OF CITY
ARTERIALS, AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF
THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AND TO
EXEOJi~ AN AGREM~ENT FOR THE USE OF SUCH FUNDS ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve the streets
listed below; and
WHEREAS, the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways/Circulation
Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial
Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will provide 50% in matching f~nds
for each OCUTP funded project; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Transportation Cc~nission intends to
allocate funds frcm the Orange County Unified Transportation Trust Fund
for the i~prov~ent of streets within the incorporated cities of the
county;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AS FO~:
1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby requests the
Orange County Transportation Cc~nission to allocate funds in the amotlnts
specified in the City's application to said Cc~anission frc~ Orange
County Unified Transportation Trust Funds. Said funds shall be matched
by funds frcm said City and shall be used to aid the City in the

improvement of the following streets in Fiscal Year 1989-90:

2. The Executive Director of the Public Works ~ency is hereby
authorized to su~nit an application to and execute an agre~nent with the
Grange County Transportation Conm~ssion for the use of the abovesaid

funds in accordance herewith on behalf of the City of Santa Ana.
