A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF S~TA ANA DECLARING ITS
INTENT TO FORM AN ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
FOR THE MAINTENANCE AND IMPROVEMENT OF
LANDSCAPING AND STREET LIGHTING WITHIN
THE BOUNDARIES AND THE TERRITORY IN-
CLUDED IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND TO
LEVY AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS PURSUt
TO THE LANDSCAPING AND LIGHTING ACT
1972 AND GIVING NOTICE THEREOF.

That reference hereby is made to the Engineer's
on file with the Clerk of the Council and open to inspection,

of the Assessment District and any zones therein, and the
proposed assessments upon assessable lots and parcels of land
within the District. '
SECTION 4: That said proposed maintenance, servicing and
replacement, in the opinion of the City Council of the City of
Santa Ana, will be to the benefit of all property lying within
the described boundaries of the proposed Assessment District as
said Assessment District is described and defined in said Eng-
ineer's Report; and that there is general public benefit derived
from the maintenance of the landscaping and street lighting.
SECTION 5: Notice hereby is given that on Junel9, 1989, at
7:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers located at 20
Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California, all interested persons
may appear before the City Council and be heard concerning the
formation of the District, the extent of the District, the
services to be performed, the proposed assessment and all other
matters relating thereto.
SECTION 6~ Protests must be in writing and must be filed with
the Clerk of the Council prior to the conclusion of the hearing.
Any such protest shall state all grounds of objection and if
filed by a property owner shall contain a description sufficient
to identify the property owned by him or her.
SECTION 7: The Clerk of the Council shall cause notice of the
hearing to be given by causing this Resolution of Intention to be
published and mailed in the manner required by Part 2 of Division
15 of the Streets and Highways Code.
