RESOLUTION NO. 89-089
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA PRESCRIBING COMPENSATION FOR THE MEMBERS
OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AND THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The members of the governing board of the Community
Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana ("Agency") shall
receive the following compensation:
(a) One hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each
Agency session attended by the member, not to exceed
compensation for six (6) meetings per calendar month for the
Chairman of the Agency, or four (4) sessions per calendar month
for the other members;
(b) At the member's option: The same health, dental
and physical fitness program benefits as normally provided for
unrepresented council appointed employees of the City of Santa
Ana;
(c) Actual and necessary expenses incurred in the
discharge of their duties.
2. The members of the governing board of the Housing
Authority of the City of Santa Ana ("Authority") shall receive
the following compensation:
(a) Fifty dollars ($50.00) for each Authority meeting
attended by the member, not to exceed compensation for four (4)
meetings per calendar month;
(b) Actual and necessary expenses incurred in the
discharge of their duties.
3. As used herein, the term "session" shall include the
following:
(a) Any formal meeting of the Agency. If a formal
meeting is adjourned to one or more subsequent days, each day
which the meeting is held shall constitute a separate session
for purposes of this Resolution;
on
(b) Any committee working or scheduled briefing
session attended by less than a quorum of the members of the
Agency pertaining to the business affairs of the Agency;

(c) Any meeting of any other public agency or
community group attended for the purpose of promoting
communications between such public agency or community group and
the Agency, provided the attendance of the member is authorized
by the Chairman or, in the absence of the Chairman, by the
Vice-Chairman.
4. Resolution No. 84-11 of this Council is hereby repealed.
