A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA FINDING THE PREMISES LOCATED AT
607 E. WASHINGTON, SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA TO
CONSTITUTE A PUBLIC NUISANCE AS DEFINED IN
THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND AUTHORIZING
ABATEMENT OF SAME

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA as follows:

1. The premises located at 607 E. Washington, Santa

in Section 3479 of the California Civil Code;
2. The premises, because of its dryrotted and deter-
iorated staircases, landings and second-story deck, is dangerous
to the health and personal safety of the tenants and the public.
3. The owner of record, D. Frederiksen, Trustee
Boulder Dam Association Revocable Trust, shall have 30 days
from receipt of service of this resolution or 60 days from the
date of adoption of same, whichever is earlier to abate the
public nuisance at the premises located at 607 E. Washington,
Santa Ana.

4. In the event D. Frederiksen, Trustee Boulder
Dam Association Revocable Trust fails to abate the public nui-
sance at the premises located at 607 E. Washington, Santa Ana,
CA, within the time period prescribed by this resolution, the
Building Safety Department, in order to insure the public safe-
ty, is authorized to initiate proceedings to vacate the second
story of the premises located at 607 E. Washington until such
time the nuisance is abated. Further, the city attorney is
authorized to initiate legal action to secure said abatement in
the appropriate legal forum; and
