A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIREC-
TOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO SUBMIT AN
APPLICATION TO THE CALIFORNIA PUBLIC UTILITIES
COMMISSION FOR GRANT FUNDING FOR THE GRAND
AVENUE RAILROAD GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has previously applied
to the California Public Utilities Commission for an appropriation
of funds for the construction of a grade separation at the Grand
Avenue railroad crossing; and
WHEREAS, the California Public utilities Commission
is expected to upgrade the priority of Grand Avenue railroad
grade separation project and require an updated grant application
submittal from the City of Santa Ana;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Public
Works Agency is hereby authorized to submit an application to
the California Public Utilities Commission for grant funding for
the Grand Avenue Railroad Grade Separation Project.
