RESOLUTION NO. 89-!28
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE COUNTY OF ORANGE
TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING
PROGRAM THE RECONSTRUCTION OF FLOWER STREET FROM
SANTA ANA BOULEVARD TO CIVIC CENTER DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve cer-
tain streets within the City; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Orange intends to provide in the County budget of the Special
Road Improvement Fund for Fiscal Year 1990-91 a sum of money for
the improvement of streets within the incorporated cities of the
County in accordance with the Orange County Arterial Highway Fi-
nancing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA;
That the City of Santa Ana does hereby request the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to allocate to the City
of Santa Ana in said budget for Fiscal Year 1990-91, from the
County Funds, the amount of $270,800 for the repair and resurfac-
ing of Flower Street from Santa Ana Boulevard to Civic Center
Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of
the County of Orange is hereby requested to find that said work,
in the manner provided, is in the general interest of the County.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that by this Resolution, the
City of Santa Ana agrees with the basic concepts of the Arterial
Highway Financing Program, and further agrees that its share of
the cost of improvements will be available for the Fiscal Year
1990-91.
