A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REVISING
THE LOGO FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana,
by its Resolution No. 83-63, dated June 6, 1983, adopted a logo
as a symbol of the business and investment opportunities offered
by the City of Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City's logo is well-known and recognized
throughout Santa Ana; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has joined forces with
its educational institutions and chambers of commerce to work
together in promoting educational opportunities; and
WHEREAS, the addition of an education message to the
City's logo will assist in these efforts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the logo of the
City of Santa Ana is hereby revised to appear as set forth in
Exhibit A, attached hereto.
