Home My WebLink About90-058Rf~OLUTION ND. g~058 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION ND. 89-087 TO PNDVIDE A GENERAL ACNOSS- THE-BOArD SALARY ADJUSTMflgT FOR CLASSES OF fl~DLOYMENT DESIGNA~'~3 AS UNREPRESENTED EXECUTIVE ~ MIDDLE-MAN~3EMfIgT WHEREAS, Sectio~ 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the city of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on September 5, 1989, the city Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 89-087, re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive and Middle-Management; and WHEREAS, an existirg labor agreement between the City and the Santa Ana City Employees' Association/Service Employees International Union, Local 1939, AFL-CIO, (~C, which represents approximately fifty percent (50%) of all represented employees of the City, provides a Fiscal year 1990-91 salary increase of four percent (4.0%), effective July 1, 1990; and WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to adjust the base salaries for unrepresented Executive and Middle-Management personnel for Fiscal Year 1990-91 by the same percentage and in the same manner as provided said represented employees. NDW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVfD BY THE CITY ~OUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAIq~A ANA: 1. That the attached new "Schedule of Salary Rate Ranges" to be effective July 1, 1990, identified as "Attachment C", be added to the existing attachments of said Resolution; and 2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions of Resolution No. 89-087 shall remain in full force and effect. 3. That this Resolution shall be operative frcm and after July 1, 1990.
