RESOLUTION NO. 91-036
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING THE
APPLICATION FOR BICYCLE AND
PEDESTRIAN FUNDS UNDER SB821
WHEREAS, SB821 provides that two percent of each county's
Local Transportation Fund be annually set aside and used to fund
the development of bicycle and pedestrian facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has planned bikeway
improvements in conformance with specification of Caltran's
Planning and Design Criteria for bikeways in California; and
., WHEREAS, th? C~ty of Santa Ana desires to construct the
bikeway ~mprovement wlthln the City utilizing the funds available
under SB821.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city Council of the
City of Santa Ana that the Executive Director of the Public Works
Agency of the city of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to take all
actions and sign all documents pertaining to the application for
funds available for bikeway improvements under SB821 and to
execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana an agreement for the
use of such funds as they may be granted to the city of Santa Ana.
