RESOLUTION NO. 91460
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO PROVIDE
ANNUAL REQUALIFICATION FOR
PARTICIPATION IN THE ARTERIAL
HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM FOR FISCAL
YEAR 1991-92.
WHEREAS, Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 9, Division 2, of
the Streets and Highway Code of the State of california authorize
a County to expend funds apportioned to it out of the California
Highway Users' Tax Fund for aid to any city for the improvement,
construction, or repair of streets within such city; and
WHEREAS, the procedure manual for the Arterial Highway
Financing Program (AHFP) requires annual requalification of
participating cities in the program by affirming with the AHFP
Advisory Committee that the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways
is mutually satisfactory and in conformance with that of the
County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has uniform setback
requirements to protect ultimate arterial highway right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has a General Plan
Circulation Element with provisions for the limitation of access to
the arterial highway system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA;
That the City's Master Plan of Arterial Highways is
mutually satisfactory and in conformance with those of its adjacent
governmental jurisdictions and with the county's Master Plan of
Arterial Highways.
