RESOLUTION NO. 92-025
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE ORANGE
COUNTY LOCAL TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY
AND THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ORANGE
COUNTY TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE ORANGE
COUNTY COMBINED TRANSPORTATION FUNDING
PROGRAMS THE IMPROVEMENT OF CERTAIN
STREETS IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve the streets
listed below; and
WHEREAS,
County Local
requirements
the City of Santa Ana has been declared by the Orange
Transportation Authority to meet the eligibility
to receive Measure M "turnback" funds; and
WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the
County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana will provide matching funds for
each project as required by the Orange County Combined Transporta-
tion Funding Program Procedures Manual; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Local Transportation Authority or
the Board of Supervisors of Orange County intends to allocate funds
for the improvement of streets within the incorporated cities and
the County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA that the City Council hereby requests the Orange
county Local Transportation Authority and the Board of Supervisors
to allocate funds in the amounts specified in the City's
application to said Authority from Measure M, the Arterial Highways
Financing Program and the Combined Road Program. Said funds shall
be matched by funds from said city as required and shall be used to
aid the City in the improvement of the following streets:
Bristol Street;
Main Street/Broadway Interchange;
Harbor Boulevard/Warner Avenue Bridge Approach;
Fairview Bridge over the Santa Ana River;
First Street between Grand Avenue and Elk Lane;
Warner Avenue between SR-55 and Redhill Ave;

MacArthur Boulevard between Bristol Street and Warner Avenue.
