RESOLUTION NO. 92-033
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA TO SUBMIT A GRANT APPLICATION FOR
MEASURE M SUPER STREET FUNDS FOR THE
PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR WARNER
AVENUE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to maintain and
improve the streets and roads within its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the City supports regional coordination of
transportation improvements; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to use Measure M funds for
transportation maintenance and improvement projects; and
WHEREAS, Warner Avenue between Pacific Coast Highway and
Harbor Boulevard has been designated as a Super Street; and
WHEREAS, the cities of Fountain Valley, Santa Ana,
Huntington Beach, and the County of Orange are interested in
preparing a cooperative study to implement the Warner Avenue Super
Street Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that the city Council hereby endorses submittal
of grant applications for Measure M Super Street funds to further
the implementation of the Warner Avenue Super Street Project.
