RESOLUTION 92-072
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA TO AMEND RESOLUTION NO. 85-27 TO
PROVIDE FOR GENERAL PAY INCREASE AS PROVIDED TO
OTHER AFFILIATED AND UNAFFILIATED PART-TIME
CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the
City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and
maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil
service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council;
and,
WHEREAS, on February 4, 1985, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 85-27 establishing the exempt class of
Management Intern in the Office of the City Manager; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has, from time to time, amended
said resolution to provide a general increase in base pay as
provided to other part-time employees; and,
WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992, the City Council provided
Represented and Unaffiliated Part-time classifications a general
three-and-one-half percent (3.5%) increase in base wages; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to provide a similar
general pay increase to the exempt class of Management Intern
effective July 1, 1992.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 2 of Resolution No. 85-27 is hereby amended
by increasing the assigned hourly rates for the exempt class of
Management Intern from ($12.35-$13.00) to ($12.80-$13.45).
2. That, except as amended by this Resolution, all other
provisions of Resolution No. 85-27 shall remain in full force and
effect.
