RESOLUTION NO. 92-096
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO EXECUTE
AGREEMENTS WITH CALTRANS FOR THE INTERMODEL
SURFACE TRANSPORTATION EFFICIENCY ACT (ISTEA)
OF 1991 PROGRAM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA
ANA.
WHEREAS, in 1991 the President signed the Intermodel
Surface Transportation Efficiency Act of 1991 providing
authorizations for highways, highway safety, and mass
transportation for the next six years. The purpose of the Act is
to develop a National Intermodel Transportation System that is
economically efficient, environmentally sound, provides the
foundation for the Nation to complete in the global economy and
will move people and goods in an energy efficient manner.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of the Public Works
Agency of the City of Santa Ana is hereby authorized to take all
actions and sign all documents on behalf of the City of Santa Ana
pertaining to the following ISTEA projects:
· MacArthur Blvd. -
· First St. -
· Segerstrom Ave. -
· Grand Ave. -
· Santa Ana Blvd.
· Flower St. -
· First St.
· McFadden Ave. -
Harbor Blvd. to Bristol St.
Grand Ave. to Elk Lane
Harbor Blvd. to Fairview Ave.
Dyer Road to Edinger Ave.
Flower St. to Raitt St.
Sunflower Ave. to Edinger Ave.
Newhope St. to Harbor Blvd.
S.P.R.R. to East City limits

And to execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, agreements, for
the use of such programs as may be granted to the City of Santa
Aha.
