Describe the present and originM (if known) physical appearance
One story California bungalow with large oversized front windows bordering
the front door made of oak decorated with 3 vertical beveled glass inserts. The front
porch and side porch have entry steps to one side. The side porch leads to
glass panel doors (single pane) which are adjacent to double hung bay windows.
Double hung windows are throughout the home except for 4fixed 20" x 14" stain glass
windows which decorate the north and south opposing walls. Individual casement
windows are directly below on the southern wall and individual glass panel doors
are on the north. One large 5' x 3' stain glass window hinged at the base monopolizes
the bathroom.
The house displays a multi-gabled roof line with a shingled exterior. The front and
side facade repeats a small column decoration above the porches which resembles
the columns used in the piers. Engaged piers support both porches with brick bases
and wood coluann tops. There are 2 columns on each base except for one pier with
3 at the southeast corner of the sideporch.

In !915, 1402 Bush first appears in the Santa Ana City Directory showing
F. W. and Jeanie Fuller as the property owners. As documented by newspaper article,
Mr. Fuller was a talented baker and worked with some of the best bakeries and catering
houses in the west. He purchased an interest in the Dragon Confectionery Company and
his wife, Jeanie was the secretary treasurer. In 1930 LLoyd H. Banks lived in the
home after marr3'ing Miss May Manatt. The house belonged previously to the Manatt
family. Lloyd H. Banks was the auditor of the city of Santa Aha, and later he was
added the position of city purchasing agent. He was highly respected and held a
prominent place among the business men of the city.
