RESOLUTION No. 93-022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMENDING
RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND 91-066 AND THE CURRENT ANNUAL
BUDGET TO ADD THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF ENTERPRISE COORDINATOR
AND RANGEMASTER AND DELETE THE CLASSIFICATION OF ENTERPRISE
MANAGER (MM).
WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the
City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and
maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil
service rules and regulations and the approval of the city Council;
and
WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and
adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the
Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for officers and
employees of the City of Santa Ana; and on July 1, 1991 passed and
adopted Resolution No. 91-066 re-establishing the Compensation Plan
for classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive and
Middle Management; and
WHEREAS, on July 6, 1992, the City Council passed and adopted
Ordinance No. NS-2163, which establishes the City's Budget
authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1992-93, and which
sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of
authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolutions to effect
these changes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110, as amended, is hereby
further amended by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the
following new classification titles at the monthly salary rate
range indicated:

2. That Section 3B of Resolution 91-066, as amended, be further
amended by deleting the class title of Enterprise Manager (MM).

3. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1992-93, as amended, be
further amended by reallocating one position each of the following
classes as shown:

4. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other
provisions of Resolution Nos. 82-110 and 91-066 shall remain in
full force and effect.
5. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after April
1, 1993.
