RESOLUTION NO. 94-001
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A TERMINATION OF CITY HALL LEASE
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
AND THE ORANGE COUNTY CIVIC CENTER AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, as a result of the defeasance of certain outstanding
indebtedness of the Orange County Civic Center Authority (the
"Authority"), the City of Santa Ana (the "City") and the Authority
desire to terminate the City Hall Lease, dated as of November 1,
1972, by and between the City and the Authority; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Santa Ana as follows:
Sectioh 1. The City Attorney and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe,
as the City's bond counsel, are hereby directed to prepare a City
Hall Lease termination agreement and the Mayor, city Manager or any
other proper officer of the City, acting singly, is hereby
authorized and directed, for and in the name and on behalf of the
City, to execute and deliver, and the Clerk of the Council is
hereby authorized to attest, seal and deliver, such agreement.
Upon execution thereof, such agreement shall be recorded in the
real property records of the Orange County Clerk and Recorder.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect from and after its
adoption.
