RESOLUTION NO. 94-044
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO ADD THE
CLASSIFICATION OF "PRINCIPAL ARTERIAL," TO DESIGNATE
DYER ROAD BETWEEN THE SR-55 FREEWAY AND REDHILL
AVENUE AS A PRINCIPAL ARTERIAL, AND TO DESIGNATE
LAWSON WAY AS A SECONDARY ARTERIAL
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana,
after duly noticed public hearing, has approved an amendment to the
General Plan of the city of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing,
concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan
amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Circulation Element of
the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended as
follows:
1. The following language is added:
A "Principal Arterial" is a 144-foot wide, divided roadway
with eight (8) lanes.
2. Dyer Road, between the SR-55 Freeway and Redhill Avenue,
is hereby designated as a Principal Arterial.
3. Lawson Way is hereby designated as a Secondary Arterial.
ADOPTED this 5th day of July , 1994.
