HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-050 - Concerning the Status of the Circulation Element for the City of Santa AnaRESOLUTION NO. 94- 050 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CONCERNING THE STATUS OF THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT FOR THE CITY OF SANTA ANA WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to maintain and improve the streets within its jurisdiction, including those arterials contained in the Master Plan of Arterial Highways (MPA/q), and WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has endorsed a definition of and a process for, determining consistency of the City's Traffic Circulation Plan with the MPAH, and WHEREAS, the City has adopted a General Plan Circulation Element which does not preclude implementation of the MPAM within its jurisdiction, and WMEREAS, the City has adopted a resolution informing the County of Orange that the City's Circulation Element is in conformance with the County's Master Plan of Arterial Highways and whether any changes to any arterial highways of said Circulation Element have been adopted by the City during Fiscal Year 1993-94, and WHEREAS, the City is required to send annually to the County of Orange all recommended changes to the City Circulation Element and the County Master Plan of Arterial Highways for the purpose of requalifying for participation in the Arterial Highway Financing Program and Measure M's Streets and Roads Programs. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SDdqTA ANA that the City of Santa Aha, does hereby inform the County of Orange and the Orange County Transportation Authority that: 1. The arterial highway portion of the City Circulation Element of the City is in conformance with the County Master Plan of Arterial Highways. through lanes Year 1993-94.
