RESOLUTION 95-010
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO
AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL BUDGET TO ADD FIFTEEN (15) FEDERALLY
FUNDED POLICE OFFICER POSITIONS.
WHEREAS, on July 5, 1994, the City Council passed and adopted
Ordinance No. NS-2225, which establishes the City's budget,
authorizing position allocations for Fiscal Year 1994-95, and which
sets forth the requirement that alterations in the allocations of
authorized positions be reviewed and approved by the City Council;
and
WHEREAS, funds have been received from the Federal Department
of Justice through the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS)
Program for the purpose of hiring fifteen (15) police officers; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 1994-95
Budget in order to effect this change.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA:
1. That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1994-95, as amended, be
further amended by allocating an additional fifteen (15) Police
Officer positions.
2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other provisions
of the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 1994-95 shall remain in full
force and effect.

3. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after February
1, 1995.
