RESOLUTION NO. 95-064
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CIRCULATION ELEMENT OF THE
GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO REVISE THE
BIKEWAY MASTER PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana, after duly
noticed public hearing, has approved an amendment to the General Plan of the city
of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public hearing, concurs in the
Planning Commission's approval of said General Plan amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Circulation Element of the General
Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended as follows:
1. The following language is added:
With reference to the Bikeway Master Plan incorporated into the
Circulation Element, the following terms have the following
meanings:
Class I Bikeway
Provides for bicycle travel on a
right-of-way completely separate from
the street.
Class II Bikeway
Provides a striped lane for one-way
travel within the street right-of-way.
2. The Bikeway Master Plan, attached hereto as Exhibit A, is hereby
incorporated into the Circulation Element of the General Plan. The previous
bikeway plan is repealed.
