RESOLUTION NO. 96- 055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO APPLY FOR STATE-LOCAL
TRANSPORTATION PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM FUNDS, AND
TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THE USE OF SUCH
FUNDS, ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA
WHEREAS, in 1988 the State of California enacted the Deddeh Transportation
Improvement and Reform Act (1988 Statues, Chapter 24), which included provision for a
State-Local Transportation Partnership Program, whereby State funds are to be
appropriated to share in the cost of eligible transportation improvement projects
undertaken by approved local government applicants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Executive Director of Public Works Agency of the City
of Santa Aha is hereby authorized to apply, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, for all
funds available to the City for eligible transportation improvement projects under the above
said program, and to take all actions and sign all documents pertaining to such application
on behalf of the City of Santa Aha, and to execute, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, an
agreement for the use of such funds as may be granted to the City of Santa Ana.
