RESOLUTION NO. 97- 007
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING IMPROVEMENTS
TO THE SANTA ANA-DELHI AND SANTA ANA-
GARDENS FLOOD CONTROL CHANNELS
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District proposes
to construct certain improvements to the Santa Aha-Delhi and
Santa ~Lna-Gardens Flood Control Channels in the City of Santa
Ana; and
WHEREAS, section 21020.0 of the Public Contracts Code of the
State of California requires that prior to commencement of the
work or improvements within a municipality and before any
contract shall be let therefor, the flood control district must
obtain the approval of the plans and specifications for such work
by the legislative body of the municipality;
WHEREAS, the Public Works Agency of the City of Santa Aha
has reviewed the plans and specifications prepared for the
proposed improvements to the Santa Aha-Delhi and Santa Wa-
Gardens Flood Control Channels and recommends that the City
Council approve the same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ~NA that the City Council does hereby approve the
plans and specifications for the proposed improvements to the
Santa Ana-Delhi and Santa Aha-Gardens Flood Control Channels, a
submitted by the Orange County Flood Control District and
recommended for approval by the Public Works Agency.
