RESOLUTION NO. 97-051
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE
DIRECTOR OF THE PUBLIC WORKS AGENCY TO
ENTER INTO kN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
(C~_LTRANS), FOR STATE FUNDING FOR PROJECTS
UNDER FY 1996-1997 TRAFFIC SYSTEM
M-~NAGEMENT PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana has applied for State funds
to be used for projects under the FY 1996-1997 Traffic System
Management Program; and,
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of
Transportation (Caltrans), on March 26, 1996 approved a funding
allocation for City of Santa Ana Project No. 1589; and,

5063;
WHEREAS, Caltran$ has presented a program supplement as
of the State-Local-Entity Master Agreement No. TSM/FCR -
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF S~-NTA ANA that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
authorizes the Executive Director of the Public Works Agency to
execute in the name of the City of Santa Ana all necessary
contracts and agreements under the State-Local-Entity Master
Agreement No. TSM/FCR - 5063 and the following program
supplement:
Program Supplement No. 008, TSM97-5063(024).
