RESOLUTION NO. 97- 055
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF TRAINING
PROGRAM PARTICIPATION AGREEMENTS WITH THE
CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL.
WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of California Highway
patrol requires written training agreements from any agency participating in
their training programs; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department of the City of Santa Aha desires
from time to time to participate in certain training programs sponsored and
administered by the Department of California Highway Patrol; and
WHEREAS, a resolution of the Santa Ana City Council authorizing
execution of participation agreements by the Chief of Police is requried for
the 1997-1998 fiscal year.
NOW, THEREFORE,' BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA that the Chief of Police is hereby authorized and
directed to execute such training participation agreements as and when
required for Fiscal Year 1997-1998.
ADOPTED this 1st day of December , 1997.
