HomeMy WebLinkAbout99-048 - Amending the Conflict of Interest Codes301 RESOLUTION NO. 99- 048 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES OF CERTAIN CITY AGENCIES AND DEPARTMENTS WHEREAS, the various offices, agencies and departments of the City of Santa Ana have maintained Conflict of Interest Codes pursuant to the Political Reform Act of 1974 (California Government Code sections 81000 et seq.) since the enactment of that law; and WHEREAS, the last comprehensive revision of the Conflict of Interest Codes of the various offices, agencies and departments of the City is set forth in City Council Resolution No. 98-038, adopted August 3, 1998; WHEREAS, certain agencies and departments of the City now desire to amend the Conflict of Interest Codes set forth in Resolution No. 98-038; and WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana that this resolution supercede and replace Resolution No. 98-038. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: 1. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the City Manager's Office set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 2. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the City Clerk's Office set forth in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 3. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the City Attorney's Office set forth in Exhibit C, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 4. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Community Development Agency set forth in Exhibit D, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 5. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Finance and Management Services Agency set forth in Exhibit E, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 6. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Fire Department set forth in Exhibit F, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 302 7. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Library Department set forth in Exhibit G, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 8. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency set forth in Exhibit H, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 9. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Personnel Department set forth in Exhibit I, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 10. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Planning and Building Agency set forth in Exhibit J, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 11. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Police Department set forth in Exhibit K, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 12. The amended Conflict of Interest Code of the Public Works Agency set forth in Exhibit L, attached hereto and incorporated herein, is hereby approved. 13. This resolution shall supercede and replace Resolution No. 98-038.
