A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF THE GRANT
APPLICATION FOR RENOVATIONS AT HERITAGE PARK

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares that the Park Playground Accessibility and Recycling Grant allows the City
of Santa Ana to install playground equipment and rubberized surfacing at Heritage Park
in accordance with state and federal accessibility standards.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby approves the
submittal of an application to the California Integrated Waste Management Board for
renovation at Heritage Park under the Park Playground Accessibility and Recycling
Grant for fiscal year 2001-2002.
Section 3. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby authorizes and
empowers the Executive Director of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services
Agency or his designee to execute in the name of the City of Santa Ana all necessary
applications, contracts, agreements, amendments and payment requests hereto for the
purposes of securing grant funds and to implement and carry out the purposes specified in
the grant application which is to install playground equipment and rubberized surfacing at
Heritage Park.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by
the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting
this Resolution.
