A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA TO AMEND THE CURRENT ANNUAL
BUDGET TO ADD ONE POSITION IN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT AGENCY
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1: The City Council hereby finds, determines and declares as follows:

On June 18, 2001, the City Council passed and adopted Ordinance No.
NS-2474, which establishes the City's Annual Budget, authorizing position
allocations for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, and which sets forth the
requirement that alterations in the allocation of authorized positions be
reviewed and approved by the City Council.
The Santa Ana Empowerment Zone has been allocated additional funds,
thus expanding the currant workload and necessitating the addition of one
position.

It is now desired to amend the Fiscal Year 2001-2002 Annual Budget to
effect the addition of one position.
Section 2: That the Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, be
further amended by allocating one (1) additional Economic Development Specialist II
position.
Section 3: That except as amended by this Resolution, all other previsions of the
Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2001-2002, as amended, shall remain in full force and
effect.
Section 4: That except as stated otherwise above, this Resolution shall be
operative from and after December 17, 2001
