A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE
CITY OF SANTA ANA FROM PROFESSIONAL AND
ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE (PAO) TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL (GC) FOR THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT
431 NORTH TUSTIN AVENUE (GPA 2002-03)

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares as follows:

General Plan Amendment No. 2002-03 has been filed with the City of
Santa Ana to amend the General Plan Land Use Designation from
Professional and Administrative Office (PAO) to General commercial
(GC).

The Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana held a duly noticed
public hearing on July 22, 2002 and determined by a vote of 6:0 (Mondo
absent) that General Plan Amendment No. 2002-03 is consistent with the
General Plan's policies of encouraging commercial development along
artedal streets, and supporting developments that are harmonious with
existing development in the area and recommended the City Council
approve General Plan Amendment No. 2002-03 to change the land use
designation for the property located at 431 North Tustin Avenue from
Professional and Administrative Office (PAO) to General Commercial
(GC).
The Mitigated Negative Declaration and the Mitigation Monitoring Program
for Environmental Review No. 01-147 was approved and adopted within
the Ordinance adopting Amendment Application No. 2002-07 which came
before the City Council of the City of Santa Ana on August 19, 2002.
Section 2. The City Council hereby, approves General Plan Amendment No.
2002-03 to change the land use designation for the property located at 431 North Tustin
Avenue from Professional and Administrative Office (PAO) to General Commercial
(GC).
Section 3. Should Ordinance No. NS-2509 not become effective, then this
resolution is null and void and shall have no further effect.

Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect thirty (30) days after its adoption
by the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote
adopting this Resolution.
