A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN SAID CITY ON
NOVEMBER 5, 2002
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares as follows:
Pursuant to the Charter of the City of Santa Ana, a general municipal
election was held in the City of Santa Ana on November 5, 2002, to fill the
office of Mayor of said City and offices of members of the City Council of
said City nominated from Wards 2, 4, and 6 of the City
That the results of the said election, including the whole number of votes
cast in the City, the names of the persons voted for, for what office each
person was voted for, and the number of votes given in the City to each
person, are set forth in that certain document attached hereto as Exhibit A
and incorporated herein by this reference as though fully set forth.
That, based upon said results, Miguel A. Pulido is declared elected to the
office of Mayor of the City of Santa Ana to a two year term.
That, based upon said results, the following persons are declared elected
to the following respective offices, each to a four year term:
Lisa Bist, member of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana from
Ward 2.
Alberta D. Christy, member of the City Council of the City of Santa
Ana from Ward 4.
Mike Garcia, member of the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
from Ward 6.
Section 2. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by
the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting
this Resolution.
