ENT BETWEEN DAVIT AVENUE AND THE ORAN~ CONTROL DISTRICT RIGHT-OF-WAY WHEREAS, upon the request of the property owners, ation of the Department of Public Works and after study, Council has determined that two portions of the drainage recommend- the City easement herein described may be unnecessary for present or future drainage purposes. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby adopts the map attached hereto and orders that the same be filed as a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council. Reference is hereby made to said map for particulars as to the drainage easement location and the portions thereof proposed to be vacated. The City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate for public drainage purposes those portions of a drainage easement located in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of Cali- fornia, and described as: Parcel 1: Parcel 2: The Westerly 2.50 feet of the Easterly 7.50 feet of Lot 29, excepting therefrom the Northerly 25.00 feet and the Southerly 25.00 feet. The Easterly 2.50 feet of the Westerly 7.50 feet of Lot 28, excepting therefrom the Northerly 25.00 feet and the Southerly 25.00 feet. Said Lots 28 and 29 are in Tract No. 4024, as per map recorded in Book 146, pages 15 and 16, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That November 20th, 1961, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, Santa Ana, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said vacation, and the City Council declares its intention to proceed with said vacation under the provisions of the Public Service Easements Vacation Law (Government Code, Sections 50430 through 50445). -1- The Clerk of the Council is hereby ordered to publish a copy of this Resolution in the Register for at least two successive weeks prior to the hearing, and the Director of Public Works is hereby ordered to post conspicuously along the lines of said easement notices stating the adoption of this Resolution and giving notice of the time and place of hearing as set out herein. Said notices shall be posted not more than three hundred feet apart and at least three notices shall be posted. Said notices shall be posted at least 15 days before the date of said hearing. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of October, 1961.
