A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA APPROVING ISSUANCE BY THE
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA ANA OF ITS SANTA. ANA SOUTH MAIN
STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX
ALLOCATION BONDS, SERIES 2003A, AND ITS SANTA
ANA SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT
PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION REFUNDING BONDS,
SERIES 2003B, AND PROVIDING OTHER MATTERS
PROPERLY RELATING THERETO

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby finds, determines
and declares as follows:
The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana (the
"Agency") proposes to issue its not to exceed $25,000,000 aggregate
principal amount of Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of
Santa Ana Santa Aha South Main Street-Tax Allocation Bonds, Series
2003A (the "Series A Bonds"), and its not to exceed $39,000,000
aggregate principal amount of Community Redevelopment Agency of the
City of Santa Ana Santa Ana South Main Street Tax Allocation Refunding
Bonds, Series 2003B (which, together with the Series 2003A Bonds,
collectively referred to hereinafter as the "Bonds"), under and pursuant to
the provisions of Part 1 of Division 24 (commencing with Section 33000)
of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California (the "Law") and
other applicable laws, for the purpose 'of financing and refinancing
redevelopment activities with respect to the Agency's Santa Aha South
Main Street Redevelopment Project.

Section 33640 of the Law requires the Agency to obtain the approval of
the City Council of the City of Santa Ana prior to issuance of the Bonds.
C=
The City Council approves of the issuance of the Bonds as being in the
public interests of the City of Santa Aha and of the Agency.
Section 2. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana approves the issuance of
the Bonds by the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana, as
hereinabove described.

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by
the City Council, and the Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote
adopting this Resolution.
