A RESOLUTION OF THE CiTY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CORRECTION OF
VESTING FOR PREVIOUSLY RECORDED PROPERTIES

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby, finds, determines
and declares as follows:
The City and the Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Ana
("Agency") purchase properties for different purposes using different funding
sources; and
Occasionally the funding source may be from the redevelopment or Iow-
moderate income housing fund, however the title has been found to be vested
in the name of the City rather than the Agency;
Likewise, general fund money may have been spent by the City in the
acquisition of property and the title is incorrectly listed as vesting in the name
of the Agency.
D. As long as proper documentation exists evidencing the funding source, staff
should be authorized to take necessary steps to correct the title.
Section 2. The City Manager, on behalf of the City of Santa Ana, and the
Executive Director of the Community Redevelopment Agency, on behalf of the Agency,
or their respective designees (the "Parties") are hereby authorized to execute such
documents that are required to be signed by the Parties in connection with the
correction of the vesting of title to match the source of funding.
Section 3. The Clerk of the Council shall attest to and certify the vote adopting
this Resolution.
