Roll call was answered by Councilmen James Gilmore, Walter Brooks, Davis Burk, Wade Eerrin, J. Ogden Markel, Tom McMichael and Mayor Harry H. Harvey. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Om motion of Councilman McMichael, seconded by Councll-~-~ Gilmore and carried, Council approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 17, VOTE COUNTING It was moved by C~ucilm~ Brooks, seconded by Councilman Gilmore that the Council direct correspondence to State Legislators opposing Senate Bill 1012, which would prohibit ballot counting at a centralized location. Counc~l~n Gilmore pointed out there is a companion bill, Assembly Bill 1607, which would provide for bi-partisan checking of electronically counted ballots. Councilma~ Brooks amended his motion to add "and favoring ASsembly Bill 1607".
