OP~NGE C0~£f FAIR The City M~nager displayed models of
two proposed exhibits for the City of
Santa Ann display at the Orange County
Fair, both estimated at approximately $3,700.00. Mayor McMichael suggested
that the funds be turned over to the Centennial C~ittee for their use in
publicizing the Centennial Year rather than for this exhibit. Councilma~
Griset was of the opinion that the 100th Anniversary should be tied in with
the exhibit at the Fair, and the Manager explained that the designer could
be instructed to include in the exhibit some ndvertising of the Centennial
Year.
It was moved by Councilma- Griset, seconded by Councilman Brooks, to approve
the plan by Wersh & Associates, in the approximate amount of $3,700.00, for
a City of Santa Ama d/splay at the Orange County Fair, and to include in
some pr~ainsnt position advertisement of our Centeunial Year. On roll call vote:
