This AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT, entered into on ,2000 is between the
STATE OE.~acting by and through its Department of Transportation,
referred to herein as "STATE", and
CITY OF SANTA ANA, a body politic and
a municipal Corporation of the State of
California, referred to here in as "CITY"

RECITALS
The parties hereto entered into an Agreement (District Agreement No. 12-214, Document No.
13300) on November 6, 1995 said Agreement defining the terms and conditions of a
· cooperative project to construct Alton Avenue Overcrossing at State Route 55, referred to
heroin as PROJECT. ~ ~,
The parties hereto also entered into an Amendment (District Agreement No. 12-214 A-l,
Document No. 13300) on December 11, 1996 to extend the termination date specified in the
original Agreement to December 31, 1998.
The parties hereto also entered into an Amendment (District Agreement No. 12-214 A-2,
Document No. 13300) on November 16, 1998 to extend the termination date specified in the
Amendment A-1 to December 31, 2000.
4. It has been determined that PROJECT REPORT will not be approved prior to the
termination date of said Agreement.
5. The purpose of this Amendment A-3 is to extend the termination date from December 31,
2000 to December 31, 2002.
IT IS THEREFORE MUTUAl J.Y AGREED:
1. The termination date specified in Section m, Article 1 of the Amendment to Agreement 12-
214 A-2 shall now be December 31, 2002 instead of December 31, 2000.
2. This Amendment to Agreement is hereby deemed to be part of Document No. 13300.
