Mayor recognized Mr. Tom McMichael, 517 East Buffalo, who questioned the "wisdom" of the proposed 26 cent tax increase. He stated that the proposed increase combined with a school override tax of approximately 75 cents and an approximate 10 per cent increase in assessed valuation would be putting too much back on the home owner in one given year. He urged the Council to look closely at the Capital Improvements Program in the hope that they might be able to pare it down. ADJOURNMENT At 10:50 P. M., the meeting was adjourned to 4:00 P.
