RECOMMENDED ACTION
Approve an appropriation adjustment accepting funds in the amount of
$465,000 into the Measure M Street Construction Fund (account no. 32-01-
5049) and appropriating funds to the Measure M Street Construction Fund
(account no. 32-551-6631) as follows:
· $290,000 (project no. 1764, for Westminster Avenue Widening)
· $175,000 (project no. 1740, for Memory Lane Bridge Widening)
DISCUSSION
As part of the funding for the Westminster Avenue and Memory Lane Bridge
widening projects, the City received Measure M Growth Management Area
(GMA) Funds from OCTA. These GMA funds were previously allocated to
Fiscal Year 06/07. The GMA board approved an action to move these funds
to the current fiscal year. In order to recognize these funds, an
appropriation adjustment is needed. The funds will be used for street
improvements that are scheduled to be completed in early 2004.
ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
There is no environmental impact associated with this action.
