Renew the contract with Valley Crest Landscape Maintenance
services at several bike trails, parks and public facilities

Paseos, and the Regional Transportation Center and Santiago/Santa Ana
Boulevard Overflow Parking Lot. The vendor has performed satisfactorily
during the past contract period, and staff recommends the second renewal of
the contract. No rate increase is proposed.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds for the first six months of the contract term are available in the
fiscal year 2003-04 Park Services, Library, and Community Development
contractual accounts (account nos. 108-250-6291, 11-214-6291, and 67-615-
6291). Funds for the duration of the contract period will be included in
the fiscal year 2004-05 proposed budget.
