RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and the
Clerk of the Council to amend agreement A-2003-022 with Siemens Building
Technologies for an amount not to exceed $12,452.
~ISCUSSION
In February 2003, the City of Santa Aha entered into an agreement with
Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. for various projects throughout the
City. The projects included refurbishment of the City Hall elevators, the
replacement of the north windows at the Main Library, as well as the
replacement of various obsolete air conditioning systems. During the
implementation of the projects, additional work was identified, which
included: the patching and painting of exterior window frames at the
Library, the installation of thermostat wiring in the Council Chambers,
and the directory signage in four elevators.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Building Maintenance and Library Other Contract
Services accounts (object code 6291).
