AGREEMENT FOR ACQUISITION OF REAL PROPERTY AND
ESCROW INSTRUCTIONS FOR 717 EAST THIRD STREET
Motion:
Direct the Agency General Counsel to prepare and authorize the
Executive Director to execute an agreement for the acquisition of
real property and escrow instructions acquiring the real property
located at 717 E. Third Street, Santa Ana, and identified as Assessor
Parcel Number 398-481-13 from Alan J. Newhart, Carol A. Newhart,
Norman W. Garrett and Alberta R. Garrett for the amount of $465,000
plus normal escrow and closing costs.

AGREEMENT WITH CALIFORNIA STATE UNIVERSITY, FULLERTON
FOUNDATION FOR THE GRAND CENTRAL ART CENTER
Motion:
1. Direct the Agency General Counsel to prepare and authorize the
Executive Director to execute an agreement with the California
State University, Fullerton Foundation (CSUF) to amend their
contract to operate the Grand Central Art Center for an additional
20 years and include a provision that during years 21-30, the
CSUF may request that the City Council terminate this lease upon
one year's notice due to economic hardship or other unforeseen
circumstances, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.
2. Direct the Agency General Counsel to prepare and authorize the
Executive Director and Secretary to execute an agreement to
assign this lease to the City of Santa Ana.

APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENT AND CONTRACT AWARD FOR
FESTIVAL HALL NOISE MITIGATION (PROJECT 2741)
Chairman Pulido declared a conflict of interest on this item because
the project location is within 500 feet of his business and left the
meeting for this item only.
Vice Chairman Franklin assumed the chair.
Motion: Authorize a $233,770 loan repayment from the South Main
Redevelopment Project Area to the Capital Outlay Fund for
Improvements Other Than Buildings.
