Amend the contracts for the purchase of peripheral computer equipment
and software upgrade by $3,138 with the vendors as follows:

DISCUSSION
The Public Works Agency's Water Resources Division utilizes a server to
run the water system facility management software and SQL server
database. Recently, the external tape drive for the server failed, and
requires replacement. The new tape drive is not compatible with the
existing back-up software. As such, a software upgrade is necessary
for compatibility and for continuous file back-up. The recommended
action will provide the most efficient method of obtaining the hardware
and software for the agency's server. The contracts are designed to
provide quality products at significant savings based on quantity
pricing.
