RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and the
Clerk of the Council to execute an amendment to the agreement with
Intergraph Inc. reassigning the work to a different Intergraph business
unit and modifying the services provided to the public Works Agency.
8>ISCUSSION
The public Works Agency currently has two locations and two computer
networks. During the last several years Agency staff has assumed the
responsibility for managing and supporting these networks and the
consulting services needed from Intergraph were for on-call emergency
support.
At this time, the needed support is more related to training and
development of new GIS software solutions. These services are provided by
a different division of Intergraph and will need to be assigned to that
unit. No increase in the total amount of the agreement is proposed.
FISCAL IMPACT
There is approximately $42,600 remaining on this agreement. Funds for the
agreement are available in the Public Works Administration account for
contract services (account no. 101-601-6291).
