To accomplish this task, the Information Services staff utilizes Unisys V380 mainframe computer equipment maintained by the Symco Group, Inc. The first one-year extension to the agreement with the Symco Group, Inc. will expire on June 30, 2004. Under the terms of the initial agreement, the City has the option to extend the term for a second additional year. Consistent with the terms and conditions of the existing agreement, staff proposes to redefine the scope of the work to include the purchase of replacement sub-assemblies in the case of a failure or other reason not covered by the maintenance services of the agreement.
