Renew the agreement with Northrop Grumman Public Safety Inc. /
Access Software Inc. for the maintenance and support of the
Department's Access Software in an amount not to exceed $53,000.

_SCUSSION
On June 1, 1998, the City of Santa Ana entered into an agreement with
Mobile Access Software, Inc. (MAS I) to provide software needed to allow
communications between the field units and the Police Department's Dispatch
Communications Center. This agreement renewal will provide for the
continued maintenance and support needed for this software. Northrop
Grumman Public Safety Inc. / MAS I is uniquely qualified to provide these
services as they designed and implemented the system.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds are available in the Computer Services Contractual Services Account
(account no. 011-338-6291).
