NO. 04-087) <f , a¿¡d§ CONTINUED TO FILE NUMBER RECOMMENDED ACTION Amend the contract to increase the aggregate limit $13,000 for the purchase of recreation equipment, not to exceed $23,000. 8 DISCUSSION to BSN Sports West by for an annual amount The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Agency provides a variety of summer programs at the City's recreation centers. Programs include the Summer P. R. I . D. E. Tennis Program, Youth Sports Program, and After School Program. BSN Sports West has been a supplier of recreation equipment for the programs. The vendor offers reliable service, competitive pricing and has consistently provided the lowest responsive informal bids. The purchase of new equipment, including scoreboards, games, and baseball, football, and tennis equipment by several departments has exceeded the $10,000 aggregate limit, thereby requiring City Council approval. Staff requests approval to increase the aggregate limit to $23,000 for BSN Sports West to provide uninterrupted purchases of recreation equipment. 8 22H-1 0$. '" Contract Amendment (Spec.
