execute an agreement with CDM for a total
stormwater related services for the City's
GIS Inventory and Source Control Program.
In September 2002, the Public Works Agency applied for and received
Proposition 13 grant funding for the City's Drainage Facility Inspection,
GIS Inventory and Source Control Program. This project will include
development of a GIS database of drainage and industrial facilities
utilized to inspect and identify possible sources of pollution, and the
development of a source control program.
Staff has solicited proposals from consultants who specialize in
stormwater management to help develop the City's programs. Three
qualified firms were contacted, PSOMAS, RBF and CDM. Due to workload
commitments and time constraints only one firm, CDM, submitted a
proposal. CDM has contracted with the City before, and the Public Works
Department is very confident in their expertise in the stormwater
management field.
