DISCUSSION
The Salgado Recreation Center at Rosita Park was constructed in 1996.
The facility houses one of only two City-owned gymnasiums and is used
extensively throughout the year for basketball and volleyball, as well
as various youth and community events. The sealants that protect the
wooden gymnasium floor are worn away in several areas and in need of
resurfacing. The contract will provide for complete refinishing and
resealing of the wooden floor.
The notice inviting bids was advertised on July 12 and 14,
bids were solicited. A summary of the bid invitations
