1. Award a contract to Damon Construction Company, the lowest
responsible bidder, in accordance with unit bid prices in the
estimated amount of $403,835 for construction of the 2004/2005
Omnibus Concrete Replacement Contract.
2. Approve a Funding Analysis with a total estimated construction cost
of $484,600.
DISCUSSION
This project will provide for replacement of damaged and deteriorated
concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, cross gutters, wheelchair ramps,
driveway approaches, and concrete pavement at various locations
throughout the City. The work will be performed on an as-needed basis.
The Notice Inviting Bids was advertised on August 9 and 11, 2004 and bids
were opened on September 3, 2004. A summary of the bid invitations
mailed, the bids received, and the bid results follows.
