RECOMMENDED ACTION
Direct the City Attorney to prepare and authorize the City Manager and
the Clerk of the Council to execute an amendment to the agreement with
Fullmer Contract Furniture and Services for the purchase and installation
of office furniture in an amount not to exceed $20,000.
DISCUSSION
In July 2004, the City entered into an agreement with Fullmer Contract
Furniture and Services for the design, purchase and installation of
office furniture configurations for the Community Development Agency's
Work Center in an amount not to exceed $10,000. Recently, with the
assignment of additional professional planning staff to the public
counter, it has become necessary to expand the number of occupants in the
adjacent office area. In order to accomplish this, two workstations are
required which will match existing furniture in Ross Annex.
The recommended contractor has been used by the City in the past to
provide furniture consistent in style and configuration with that
existing in various City facilities.
FISCAL IMPACT
Funds in the additional amount of $10,000 are available in the Planning
and Building Agency account for machinery and equipment (account no. 11-
505-6641) .
